Staff Profiles

Alice holds a Masters degree in Education from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom and Bachelors Degree in Arts (Sociology) of Makerere University Uganda.
She has vast experience in educational research, sociology of Adult Education with special interest in Gender issues in Education including pedagogical integration of ICT; Adult Literacy and Community education.

Alice Ndidde is the Lead Coordinator of a DFID/British Council supported Project: “Strengthening parental/community participation in enhancing quality education in primary schools in Uganda”. This project is being implemented in partnership with Department of Adult Education and Communication Studies, IACE, Makerere University, (Lead Partner), Ministry of Education and Sports, Department of Pre-primary and Primary education (PPE), and The Open University, UK, Centre for Educational Policy, Leadership and Lifelong Learning, Department of Education.

Priscilla holds a Bachelors degree in Adult and Community Education (1st class Hons), Makerere University and is a student on the Masters of Adult and Community Education at the same University.

She is engaged in the teaching of three courses; Psychological Foundations of Adult & Community Education, Communication Theory & Practice, in addition to Language, Linguistics and Literacy.

Ronard Mukuye is working as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Adult Education and Communication Studies at Makerere University.  Currently, Ronald teaches on the following courses;
    Introduction to Research in Adult and Community Education
    Sociological Foundations of Adult and Community Education
He has also previously taught Communication Skills for Adult Educators Course.
